Hi I am Dr Sameer Mathur, an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with a career focus on all aspects of fertility and menopause
Approach
I believe in a considered, non-judgemental, and empowering approach to women’s healthcare. My goal is to provide clear, evidence-based guidance while supporting my patients in making informed decisions about their health and well-being. I create a warm and collaborative environment where every woman feels respected and cared for.
Qualifications & Experience
I completed my medical degree (MBBS) at the Australian National University in Canberra before undertaking specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Royal North Shore Hospital.
My advanced expertise was further developed through fellowships in fertility and menopause medicine at the prestigious Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital Trust in London, followed by a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.
Currently, I serve as a staff specialist at Royal North Shore Hospital, where I lead a multidisciplinary menopause clinic for women with complex needs. I also hold visiting medical officer positions at Royal Prince Alfred and North Shore Private Hospitals. Privately, I consult at IVF Australia in Greenwich, Burwood, and Bella Vista, offering Individualised and expert care across all aspects of reproductive and gynaecological health.
